Why Study in India: Advantages & Disadvantages

Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies (MRIIRS) has issued a detailed set of guidelines for candidates appearing in the Manav Rachna National Aptitude Test (MRNAT) 2025, scheduled to be conducted in online mode. The university emphasizes adherence to these protocols to ensure a smooth, fair, and secure testing environment for all participants.

The MRNAT 2025 is a remote-proctored online examination offering entrance and scholarship opportunities to students across a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs.

Key Technical & System Requirements

Candidates must ensure the following technical prerequisites are met before attempting the exam:

  • A stable internet connection with minimum 512 kbps speed.
  • Installation of the latest version of Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome browser on Windows or macOS systems.
  • Pop-up blockers disabled in browser settings.
  • No third-party webcam software should be installed.

Additionally, candidates must verify that their webcam and microphone are functioning correctly, and they must allow necessary permissions for camera, microphone, and screen capture access.

Prohibited Actions & Behaviors

Manav Rachna strictly prohibits the following during the MRNAT:

  • Navigating away from the test window.
  • Use of mobile phones, calculators, earphones, or any unauthorized electronic devices.
  • Presence of additional persons in the room during the test.
  • Pressing function keys such as F5, which may terminate the test prematurely.

The system is programmed to detect and report suspicious activities, including attempts to cheat, communicate externally, or manipulate the browser. Any such behavior may lead to disqualification.

Monitoring & Surveillance

The test will be monitored in real-time via webcam. Participants are required to sit in a well-lit room, and their face must be clearly visible throughout the duration of the test.

Test-takers must keep one of the following government-issued ID proofs ready:

  • Aadhar Card
  • PAN Card
  • Driver's Licence
  • Passport

This will be required to authenticate identity through the registered test login credentials.

In Case of Interruptions

In the event of an unexpected shutdown due to a power cut or technical glitch, candidates are instructed not to panic. The system auto-saves responses, and upon restarting the device, participants may resume from where they left off without losing previous answers.

General Tips Before the Test

  • Close all background applications including chat software, antivirus updates, auto-update prompts, and screen savers.
  • Ensure no distractions or external disturbances during the test window.
  • Begin the test well before the designated time to allow for any last-minute troubleshooting.

With the MRNAT serving as a gateway to admissions and scholarships at Manav Rachna’s reputed institutions, compliance with the online test guidelines is essential. The university encourages all participants to thoroughly review and prepare their systems in advance to ensure a stress-free examination experience.

Students are advised to follow the checklist and stay informed through official university communication channels and indo global foundation websites and social media for any updates regarding test scheduling or login procedures.
