BBA has been one of the most pursued courses last year and is increasingly becoming popular this year as well. IIM Indore
The Indian Institute of Management, Indore is the only IIM which offers a bachelor’s degree as well. IIM Indore offers a 5 year integrated BBA and MBA course which it calls IPM. The added advantage of pursuing this course is that you can get your MBA degree from an IIM too, without even giving any entrance tests for it. IIM Indore has amazing placement records and provides the perfect launch pad to soar high in your career. For international students, the admission is through the SAT exam. Students must get at least 1000 out of 1600 in SAT and should have secured at least 60% marks in their 10th and 12th standard. Once the students are shortlisted based on the above criteria, they will be called for a Written Aptitude Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI). The fees for the first three years of the program is INR 6,00,000 per annum and includes hostel charges as well. For the final two years the fees depends upon the type of specialization.
ShaheedSukhdev College of Business Studies (SSCBS)
SSCBS comes under Delhi University and it is a grade A college which was accredited by NAAC. The admission here is through IELTS and TOEFL for Nepalese students. Delhi University is quite renowned university for any stream in India. The number of students in each branch is very limited and thus the competition is high. Since it is a government run college the fees is quite economical as well. There are three bachelor level programmes available in this college. These are- Bachelor of Management Studies, Bachelor of Business Studies and Bachelor of Financial and Investment Analysis.The college strives very hard to produce graduates who have a vision, knowledge and the potential to thrive in a diverse environment.Students are required to work on a 6-8 week long internship after their 2nd and 4th semester exams. This has been implemented to ensure that students gain quality exposure in the industry before becoming full-time employees. Placements are also quite good in this college as SSCBS. Last year the highest package that was given to bachelor’s degree students was of 12 lpa and the average package was of 5.5 lpa.
Christ University, Bangalore
Christ University in Bangalore is quite famous for its BBA and BA degrees. Notable alumni in the field of Economics and Management are mostly from this college. The placements are also quite good. One can also pursue MBA or MA in Economics or Accounting later from this college. Students who study here always love the department and appraise it. Nepalese students must have a minimum score of 6.0 in IELTS or a minimum score of 550 in TOEFL paper based test (213 for computer based). A certificate course in English is also mandatory to take after regular classes every day in the first semester. Furthermore, an online application form has to be filled and submitted before the deadline, along with an application fee of USD 100. The campus is quite diverse with international students from countries all around the world like Sri Lanka, UAE, Kuwait, Mauritius, Singapore, Kenya and Uganda. The college has a great BBA program where faculty who have studied from foreign universities take classes. The infrastructure is top-notch and the placements are quite high as well. The top five per cent of the students in BBA program get admission into the MBA program without the need of giving any entrance exam again.
