About MIT World Peace University
MIT World Peace University (MIT-WPU) Pune, established in 1983, is a private university offering a range of undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, and doctoral programs. The university is approved by UGC, PCI, BCI, and DSIR and is ranked between 101-150 in NIRF Ranking 2024. It focuses on integrating peace studies with professional education to develop responsible global citizens.
For international students, admissions are based on the following criteria:
Undergraduate Programs:
B.Tech:
- Minimum 50% marks in 10+2 with PCM or PCB.
- Valid score in MHT CET, JEE, or PERA CET (specific requirements for Bioengineering programs).
- Alternatively, 60% marks in a Diploma in Engineering & Technology.
BBA & B.Com:
- Minimum 50% marks in 10+2, with English as a core subject, from a recognized institution.
- Or, a minimum of 60% in a 3-year Diploma or MCVC from a recognized institution.
B.Pharm:
- Minimum 50% marks in 10+2 with PCM or PCB.
- Valid score in MHT CET, NEET, or PERA CET.
Integrated LL.B:
- Minimum 50% marks in 10+2 with English as a core subject.
- Valid score in CLAT, MH CET, MIT-WPU CET, or LSAT.
LL.B:
- Minimum 50% marks in graduation.
- Valid score in CLAT, MH CET, MIT-WPU CET, LSAT, PERA, or AILET.
Postgraduate Programs:
M.Tech:
- Minimum 50% marks in BE/B.Tech in the relevant branch.
- Valid score in GATE, PERA CET, or MIT-WPU CET.
- Sponsored candidates should have at least 2 years of work experience post-graduation.
MBA:
- Minimum 50% marks in graduation from any stream.
- Valid score in GMAT.
MCA Management:
- Minimum 50% marks in graduation, with a background in BCA, BA, B.Com, or B.Sc (with Mathematics in 10+2).
- Valid score in MIT-WPU CET, PERA CET, or MAH CET.
Other Programs:
Eligibility for other undergraduate and postgraduate programs is also based on respective qualifications and valid entrance exam scores. International candidates are also evaluated based on their academic records and seat availability.
